Well, the US economy won't seem to be "uplifted" likely for years...  More on that and exciting global business stuff we're involved in later.  In addition, I'm in the "market requirements definitions (MRD)" phase of a differentiated book plan as a side project carved within a busy schedule, for fun.  Stay tuned for A Congruent Blog to come out.

After 3 years of pain, a new bull cycle -- probably of the roughly 15 year vintage? -- has started around the world slowly but surely, though we've lately been experiencing a correction.  Asia, driven by China and India's growth, is vibrantly moving up. Japan and Korea continue to lead as the most advanced mobile markets.  The US economy is heading north again. New York is generally in relatively good moods.  Silicon Valley is back, but this time is different, more distributed.  The world is looking up, cautiously, barring events you and I can't control.  Wireless appears to be a next big wave.  The US wireless market is awakening, while Asia and W. Europe continue to lead.  Consumers are buying.  Enterprises, though more cautious, are beginning to invest more.  Mobile operators are investing for revenue generation, not (just) cost cutting.  Fixed operators are defending, some by offense.  Some channels are adjusting their business models.  New players are emerging.  Suppliers are increasingly relieved as customers are purchasing.  The competition has risen between VCs for deals in certain subsectors in certain parts of the world.  Valuations are getting higher.  Entrepreneurs, more tempered now, are starting more companies worldwide.  I hope you enjoy this journey...  Any thoughtful comments?  If so, please email feedback@congruentpartners.com
