Jason
L. Ma is co-founder, senior academic advisor, and former CEO at IvyMax,
Inc. IvyMax is a premier education software and in-center counseling
and educational service provider that fills the gap between what is
missing in high schools and maximum competitiveness and that prepares
students exceptionally well for admission to their dream college.
Mr. Ma is passionate in helping bring out the best in students as whole
persons and in guiding them and their parents in the competitive and
complex world of college prep. Among his colleagues and associates at IvyMax, he
brings an uncanny ability to inspire and influence people.
Globally well connected, Mr. Ma brings 25 years of seasoned operating and international experience in 24 countries in the education, e-learning, Internet, wireless, media, e-payment and networking sectors. He is founder and CEO of Congruent Partners (since 2002), senior advisor at Silicon Valley-China Wireless Technology Association (since 2001), and a member of the Forbes CEO Network. Mr. Ma is a recognized pundit for CNBC in Asia, CNET, Sing Tao Media, Chinese Evening News in the S.F. Bay Area, and for analysts at leading investment firms on Wall Street and main street. He has been continually invited as a VIP delegate to the highly influential annual Forbes Global CEO Conference since 2005 and as a guest speaker to the annual Global China Business Meeting in Europe since 2006. Mr. Ma also sparkles as a periodically invited guest speaker at Stanford University, UC Berkeley, INSEAD, National University of Singapore, and leading non-profit organizations in Silicon Valley and San Francisco.
Mr.
Ma earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research
at UC Berkeley and attended Santa Clara University's evening graduate
business school. On a personal
